Museum of Fine Arts Book Club

Get your discussion group, book club, or group of friends together for this. MFAH has a docent-led tour and discussion on a selected book which means that a docent will take your group around the museum to look at art that complements the book, and they will engage the group in a discussion to deepen the understanding of both book and art.

Houston Great Books schedules at least two of these events for individuals. Email Louis for more information.

  2. Download the discussion guide to facilitate your conversation. This guide features questions about the book and related works of art in the MFAH collections and exhibitions.

Note: If your group meets at a time not included above, please e-mail bookclub@mfah.org with a request for a specific day and time.
            e. Look for a confirmation e-mail, within 5 business days, with information about when and where to meet the docent.
