What We ReadWe read books exploring issues of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, sizeism, abilism, bullying, religious intolerance, xenophobia and other major problems plaguing our society, and focus on amplifying the visibility of authors from demographics traditionally ignored by publishers.
Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month at woodbar! 7:30 PM! You don't have to have read the book to participate in the discussions, but it is recommended. Special thanks to Connie and Eric at the HGBC and the team at woodbar for allowing us the opportunity to organize an event for the literary community! And Wendy for all the help on our website, too! Be sure to check it for information about upcoming meetings. |

Even if you can't participate in the group meetings themselves, we are more than happy to host discussions right here on the fan page. So feel free to join up if you live too far away or suffer a cramped schedule or something else preventing attendance. We love you and want to talk about books with you no matter what.
