| We want to read, discover, and discuss classical poems and poets. Our main goal of each discussion is to read and understand the poems. Then we look at how the poems function as we would any piece of literature, including meaning, plot, character, etc., but we try to also look at how what we are reading is a poem and the characterists special to that genre. We are moving in a vaguely chronological order to help us understand how one work grows or breaks away from previous ones. |
