Reading Material

We generally read novels, with the occasional short story or play. Our selections are chosen from nominations by members. Twice a year we invite members to suggest possible selections. We vote on the nominations  at our meeting (usually May and  November.)  The six books receiving the most votes become our selections for the next half of the year. (If a member's nominated book is chosen, that person leads the discussion of his or her book)

Welcome

Hello. We are a Great Books discussion group which meets every second Monday evening at the Central Market meeting room. Our focus is on fiction by renowned authors generally the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. We invite you to join us.
